Peace Lily - Spathiphyllum wallisii
The characteristic white bloom of the Peace Lily is said to be how it received its common name, representing the white flags of a ceasefire. This is recognised as one of the best plants for improving air quality, removing toxins such as formaldehyde, ammonia and carbon monoxide from the air. The flowers of a Peace Lily are in fact specially adapted leaves called a bract. It is native to South America and from the same family as a Flamingo Flower.

I bought a number of plants from Beards & Daisies, on first impressions all arrived in excellent condition, brilliantly packaged.
I think this has got to be the prettiest of the plants I bought, truly stunning plant to look at looks in fantastic shape. Stood tall and proud with 3 sails on show on arrival, Viktor as I've named it, now has 4 it has already developed another flower which is slowly rising its way up to the top. I really love this peace lilly even more than I thought it would pictures can't do it justice. I really want to get another for the bedroom.
Pictures taken about one hour after unpacking and watering.
Thank you B&D! <3
