An elegant houseplant, the bright green feathery leaves have an almost wispy quality. These plants work equally well in a pot or in a hanging basket. The plant is initially bushy, but the stems become slenderer as the plant matures and form vines. This plant is native to South and East Africa.
Light conditions: find a spot with indirect light and this plant will thrive although too much direct light and the leaves will turn yellow and slow down growth.
Neediness: ferns do benefit from an occasional trim to keep it fresh and tidy but beware of the tiny, hidden thorns. Maintaining humidity is key to help this plant thrive.
Watering: ferns enjoy being well watered so avoid allowing the soil to dry out by watering little and often and mist regularly to recreate the effects of a humid environment. Water less frequently in cooler weather. Pale green fronds can be an indicator that the plant is thirsty. Brown stems can be a sign the plant is overwatered.
Ideal location: bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms
Rate of growth: average, in the right conditions these plants can grow up to 2.5m tall and 0.5m wide.
Temperature: keep at normal room temperature. Avoid temperatures above 25c in warm weather and below 10c in cooler weather.

Returns
If you'd like to return a living item, let the team know within 30 days by emailing hello@beardsanddaisies.co.uk or live chat if online. Please attach a photo of the faulty or damaged plant. Other items can be returned for a refund within 30 days as long as they're unused and in re-saleable condition.

Flower and plant deliveries will be sent separately; add ons such as cards or gifts will arrive with your flower order. You'll receive dispatch emails containing tracking information to keep you updated on the process of your deliveries.

Your plant has been on quite the adventure to get to you, so it might need a drink and some time to adjust to its new home. It’s perfectly normal that it may be showing some minor signs of stress after shipment.
If your plant is damaged beyond what you’d expect, let us know within 30 days, and a friendly member of the Plant Folk will be able to help you. All you need to do is take a couple of pictures of the problem area and one of the whole plant and send them to hello@beardsanddaisies.co.uk. We’ll then make things right as quickly as we can, so you can get on with enjoying plant parenthood.
