African Fig - Ficus Cyathistipula
The Ficus Cyathistipula, more commonly known as the Fig Tree is a well-loved plant due to it's fast-growing tendencies - it's also incredibly easy to care for. If you like to feel rewarded by your hard work plant-parenting, then this is the perfect plant for you! This plant comes with one of our luxe handmade earthenware pots that will perfectly fit your new plant.

As its name suggests, it originates in Africa, where it can be found amongst the dense forest regions. African Fig Trees make the perfect gift for a new home or new job, as the tree is known to symbolise fulfilling aspirations and dreams.

Relatively low-maintenance, the plant will remain happy so long as it's soil is moderately moist at all times. It thrives at slightly warmer conditions, making it an ideal indoor houseplant - but keep it away from direct sunlight which might burn it's beautiful leaves.

Another beautiful plant from beards & daisies I love the thick, deep green leaves on this fig such a healthy look and feel perfect addition of life to a living room. Fredrick stands tall in the corner in its lovey large pot which I've since put onto a plant stand to give it the prominence it deserves. I couldn't be happier with this stunning plant, again, I now want another fig to add to the other side of my room :)

I am just revamping my sitting room and was pleased to see the plant arrive in one piece. The packaging was a bit damaged and also a few of the plant leaves but I am sure they will improve. I just hope to keep the plant in its current great condition. I would recommend the ordering, and delivery.

Nice large plant

Ordering the plant was easy and good to choose delivery day . Came well packaged and I watered it as advised . A couple of the leaves were bent but hopefully will sort itself out . I lost a leaf from the top which looked like a newish leaf . The ends of the stems are brown and crispy - not sure if this plant just goes that way or whether I should trim them off . Would like your advice about it if possible Beards and Daisies . I know that it is a funny time of the year to get a new plant . Would order from this site again
