Sound the trumpets for this exotic, Brazilian-native tree! Hailing from warmer climates, it's not quite used to the cold weather we get here in the UK, so due to its tender nature, it's best to keep this plant in a conservatory or green house, then bring outside during the warmer months. It gets its common name, of course, from its trumpet-shaped flowers.
The flowers on this plant are scented, and will fill your garden with a rich perfume.
This plant is made for the sunshine so position somewhere it can soak up the rays. If you look closely, you may even see this plant open and close its flowers depending on the time of day. Make sure its soil is well-drained.
