Otherwise known as a Maranta Leuconeura, this plant will thrive if kept in indirect, bright light and water weekly throughout the warmer months or when the soil feels dry and less so during winter. Get this wrong and this plant will let you know by it’s leaves turning brown. Keep the prayer plant moist but not soggy with regular misting using warm water as it needs a highly humid environment if you want it to thrive. Prayer plants are most happy in kitchens or bathrooms where they can benefit from the steam. This plant is safe around pets and humans.
All our plants come with a beautiful keepsake postcard with care instructions so you'll never kill your house plant again!
FACT: The prayer plant earned it’s name because of the way it’s leaves fold together at night, like hands closed in prayer.
