Add some elegance to your garden with this beautiful Bamboo tree. Its colour palette offers something a little different as its canes change from dark red to a deep purple as it matures, and contrasted with its mid-green, lance-shaped leaves, it makes for a wonderful display.
Despite Bamboos having a history that dates back for thousands of years, this type is a new generation that's produced by a cross-pollination of the Fargesia Nitida and Fargesia Nitida 'Gansu' in 2005.
The Fargesia Nitida Volcano grows well in semi shade, just make sure it's kept away from strong winds, as it won't like drafts. Besides from that, it's happy in either a pot, or planted straight into the ground making it a great choice for all garden types.
