This rare Begonia Maculata's leaves are long and coloured in deep reds with delicate pink spots on the top.
The Begonia is monoecious - this means they have separate male and female flowers on the same plant.
Native to Brazil, this plant likes warmth and tropical climates. To make yours thrive at home, regularly mist the leaves and consider positioning in east or west facing rooms near the window. When the new leaves start to grow they will appear pale and crinkly but don't worry, this won't last for long - as they mature these new leaves will darken, thicken and flourish.
